Colorado Women’s Alliance Announces the Formation of Colorado Women’s Alliance Foundation

(FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE)

December 9, 2020 – (Golden, CO), Joni Inman, the Executive Director of the Colorado Women’s Alliance, is proud to announce the formation of the Colorado Women’s Alliance Foundation.

“The Colorado Women’s Alliance Foundation (CWAF) is a non-partisan, non-profit organization created with a mission that focuses on Inspiring, Training and Mentoring women to encourage them to become more involved in civic leadership and the political process,” Inman says.

Chair Jennifer Churchfield explains that the goal of Colorado Women’s Alliance Foundation is to empower participants to cultivate a dialog about the important role women play in policymaking, locally & beyond.  We believe women are unique in building relationships and common ground, and that our voices must be represented in the decisions that affect our community and our state.

“Our voice is our most powerful tool to advocate for change, but how do you develop the right message, the right skills or the right avenue to use it?  CWAF will offer a unique opportunity via training workshops for interested women to explore and understand all levels of government, including boards, commissions & elected offices,” states Churchfield.

The board is filled with women who fall all along political lines, as well as backgrounds in government, business, nonprofit, and so much more.

“We are excited to open this new chapter of Colorado Women’s Alliance, and to continue to build on the great work they have done, while forging a new path and offing more opportunity for women to make their voices heard,” Churchfield said.
