Extreme Moratoriums Threaten Colorado Economy and Employment

October 28, 2013 (Denver, CO) – Colorado Women’s Alliance is calling on all Coloradan women to research fracking, the impact of the energy bans in four Colorado cities and to push back on the fear mongering and junk science that extremists are using to create angst in our local communities.

“We are inundated with negative, often inaccurate information about the impacts of natural gas development on our communities, with extreme groups selling the idea that this tried and true drilling technique is bad for our children and families,” said Debbie Brown, Executive Director, Colorado Women’s Alliance. “We’re encouraging women to research the facts about energy production and the benefits to our communities.”
